What is muscle testing?
Muscle testing is used to gain information from, and feedback changes to, the brain and body.
In Neurolinguistic Kinesiology balancing, the anterior deltoid muscle is used as an indicator muscle to gain information about the sensory motor pathway or the loop between the brain and body.
Muscle testing is used as a biofeedback mechanism to monitor functioning between the brain and the body. It can be used to establish whether a situation, activity, memory etc. is causing stress and/or imbalance to the mind-body system.
Neurolinguistic Kinesiology bypasses conscious thinking processes for mental, emotional, physical imbalances and the appropriate corrective treatments to apply.
Each treatment is unique as it’s determined by the responses gained from the client via muscle testing and honours the individual’s own healing potential.
How muscle testing is conducted?
Client extends and hold their arm at 45° whilst gentle pressure is applied to the wrist. The kinesiologist looks for subtle changes in the client’s muscle response to determine the most appropriate balancing therapy needed.
