Olamide Orekunrin, medical doctor, helicopter pilot and the founder of Flying Doctors Nigeria dedicated her life to bring trauma care to the most remote parts of Western Africa though air ambulance service.
She was driven to create real and meaningful change after tragically losing her younger sister who was traveling in Nigeria and due to no medical air service being available, she wasn’t able to be transported to hospital and get the medical care she needed.
