I have always enjoyed reading or watching stories of remarkable individuals, the ordinary to the extraordinary, the impossible to the possible because it inspires me. Stories that bring us optimism, hope and courage. Sometimes, seeing is believing and when a spark is ignited within us, we learn and grow within ourselves that our ability to respond is limitless.
Chess is a game played by many, but mastered to excellence by only a few. Whilst chess is a game that is dominated by men, it’s a field that men and women can compete in equal terms.
Judit and her 2 sisters played chess however, Judit was the best of them all and even beat her father at the age of 5. She went on to win her first international chess tournament at the age of 9.
Judit was one of the top 100 players in the world and competed in competitions that were open to everyone. At the age of 15, FIDE recognised and declared her a Grandmaster, a title given to only the very best chest players in the world. Making her also the youngest person ever to become a Grandmaster. She established a foundation in her name to encourage children to learn chess.
Our ability to respond is limitless. #LimitlessResponseAbility
